I have been remiss!

It has been far too long since I have written, I hope you all will forgive me. 

I blame the running. The all consuming running. I actually wake up early to run, who am I?

We are one week away from the half marathon. I am pretty excited, although as I can not even keep up with the running group during practice I am shooting for a personal best, rather than competing with anyone on raceday. Look! I said a running thing, “personal best!” Really, someone slap me and remind me this is just about the ability to eat high carbohydrate foods in larger portions. 

Sometimes you just get caught up in the idea of something, you know?
