It is Arizona night here in Sayulita. Mexican food migrated up there before the borders got too tight. Yikkes!

We are having

Sandia (watermelon)

veggie tacos

ensalada verde

and agua fresca

Recipe Melon Agua fresca

  • 1 large cantaloupe or half a watermelon seeded and diced (about 3 cups)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 to 4 T sugar or 2 T agave nectar
  • juice of 3 limes

Puree melon and pour through a sieve to eliminate pulp. In a pitcher, mix strained fruit puree with water and season with sugar and lime juice, to taste. Add ice.
